About Whispart and the Work
What is Whispart?
Whispart is an independent, two-person founder-led machine-learning art and design studio based in Kunming, China. We use generative systems as creative tools, then apply human selection, curation, naming, collection design, material decisions, final inspection, certification, and physical presentation.
We do not present ourselves as a traditional painting atelier. Our purpose is to bring visually distinctive, carefully selected decorative works into collectors’ spaces with clear provenance and a restrained studio presentation.
Are the works created with artificial intelligence?
The current collections are created through GAN and other machine-learning-assisted processes. The machine produces possibilities; the studio determines what is trained, what is rejected, what is selected, how a work is presented, and whether it is worthy of release.
A final Whispart work may be selected from a very large output set and is then placed within a named collection, documented, physically produced, inspected, and issued as a specific archive release.
What does One-of-One mean?
One-of-One means that Whispart authorizes, releases, and sells one physical Whispart edition of the designated final image. Once collected, that image is not released again by Whispart as another physical edition, digital download, poster, or merchandise item.
The designation concerns the specific final image. It does not claim that no related style, motif, or machine-generated image can exist anywhere else.
What happens to the product page after a work is collected?
The work may remain visible in the Whispart archive and will no longer be available for purchase. Historical pages help preserve the release record and allow future visitors to understand the development of a collection.
If a certified work is returned, it is permanently retired rather than offered for sale again.
Will the collected image be used on other products?
No. Whispart does not reissue the same designated final image as another artwork, digital download, clothing item, poster, postcard, or other merchandise.
We may retain an archive page, pre-existing historical posts, internal evidence, and clearly identified historical presentation in a future brand publication.
Does the artwork include a certificate?
Eligible works include a studio-issued certificate recording details such as the title, Archive Number, dimensions, material, creation method, issue date, 1/1 status, collector name or “Private Collection,” curatorial signature, and studio seal.
The certificate documents Whispart’s own production and archive record. It is not an independent appraisal or a guarantee of future resale value.
Can I resell or give away the physical work?
Yes. The owner may display, gift, or resell the physical object, subject to applicable law. The original certificate should remain with the work when ownership is transferred.
The physical transfer does not transfer copyright, digital files, model rights, or commercial reproduction rights.
Materials and Studio Preparation
Where is the artwork made?
Whispart works with selected specialist production partners in China for professional canvas printing, solid-wood framing components, acid-free protective materials, and related production work.
The components are sent to our Kunming studio, where we perform the final inspection, outer-frame assembly, alignment review, certificate preparation, studio photography, protective packing, and shipment handoff. The work is made and studio-finished in China.
Is every order personally checked by the studio?
Yes. Before international transit, the studio checks the print, canvas surface, framing components, corners, alignment, hanging components, certificate, and overall presentation. We also retain final studio and packaging photographs for quality and order records.
Is the canvas hand-stretched in your studio?
No. The canvas is professionally stretched with specialist equipment before it reaches our studio. We prefer a consistent, stable result over using handwork as a marketing gesture when professional equipment produces the better finish.
Our studio completes the final outer-frame assembly, inspection, documentation, and packing.
Will the physical work look exactly like the screen image?
We work to keep the physical result materially consistent with the product presentation. Small differences may result from screen settings, ambient light, printing, canvas response, and natural solid-wood grain.
Room scenes and mockups are presentation references. Confirm scale using the dimensions stated on the product page. A major printing error, incorrect work, or material color-block failure remains eligible for a remedy.
Payment, Shipping, and Returns
How can I pay?
Payments are processed through PayPal as commercial goods-and-services transactions. Depending on PayPal’s checkout options, a buyer may also be able to use an eligible card through PayPal without Whispart receiving complete card credentials.
Whispart will never ask you to pay for a website order using PayPal Friends & Family.
Does the listed price include shipping and import clearance?
Yes. Standard delivery to an eligible U.S. address and ordinary import-clearance charges under our standard service are included in the listed price unless checkout expressly states otherwise.
Applicable sales or use tax, if legally required and collected, will appear at checkout.
Why does delivery take approximately two to three weeks?
Each order is prepared individually rather than taken directly from a U.S. mass-distribution warehouse. Studio preparation normally takes 3–5 business days. The completed work then travels from Kunming through the Guangzhou international air-export network and into the U.S. last-mile delivery system.
Most eligible orders arrive approximately 14–22 calendar days after purchase. This is an estimate rather than a guaranteed arrival date.
How do I track my order?
We send tracking information by email after the shipment enters the international logistics network. Tracking is normally visible through 17TRACK within 1–3 business days after carrier handoff.
A short period without a visible scan does not necessarily mean the parcel has not been shipped.
Where do you currently ship?
Whispart currently ships to valid street addresses in the contiguous 48 United States. We do not currently support Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, other U.S. territories, PO Boxes, APO/FPO/DPO addresses, freight-forwarding addresses, or destinations outside the United States.
We ship only to the address recorded in the PayPal transaction.
Can I cancel an order?
An order may be canceled for a full refund within 12 hours after purchase by contacting us through the order email address.
After 12 hours, cancellation is not guaranteed because sourcing begins quickly, but we will make a reasonable effort to approve a full cancellation before carrier handoff. Once the carrier has possession, the return policy applies.
Can I return a work if I change my mind?
Eligible, non-personalized physical works may be returned by requesting authorization within 14 calendar days after confirmed delivery.
The buyer pays change-of-mind return shipping. Whispart does not deduct the original outbound international shipping cost and does not charge a fixed restocking fee. The work must be returned in substantially original condition with its certificate and supplied components.
What happens if the parcel is lost or the work arrives damaged?
Contact us promptly and retain all packaging. For a verified major defect, incorrect item, transit damage, or confirmed loss, the collector may choose a free replacement or a full refund.
For a One-of-One transit replacement, the damaged original and certificate are voided before the replacement is issued under the same Archive Number.
Copyright and Collector Use
Do I receive a high-resolution digital file?
No. The purchase includes the physical work and its applicable collector documentation. It does not include the digital master, source files, model, dataset, training records, or a commercial reproduction license.
Can I photograph the work and share it on Instagram?
Yes. Collectors may photograph their physical work and share those photographs for personal, non-commercial purposes. Crediting Whispart and the work’s title is appreciated.
Whispart will request permission before reposting a collector’s photograph in brand marketing.
Can I display the work in an office, hotel, restaurant, or Airbnb?
Yes. Ownership of the physical object generally allows you to display it as interior décor in a private or commercial space.
This does not permit reproduction of the image in advertisements, packaging, merchandise, downloadable files, promotional graphics, or other commercial media without written authorization.
Can I make prints, merchandise, or AI derivatives from the image?
No. Without written permission, Whispart materials may not be used for print-on-demand, posters, merchandise, NFTs, downloadable files, counterfeit listings, dataset compilation, AI training or fine-tuning, image-to-image generation, style-transfer products, or commercial derivatives.
